Halloween!!

I was completly excited for halloween this year and thought that I would "get it all done early" this year. Ha ha!! I did good with the decorating and getting the boys treat bags for their classes ready, but when it came to costumes I was scrambling again.  Thanks to my mom we pulled it all out and the costumes trurned out great!!!  They were sooo cute!  It was sock monkeys this year for the boys and Nacho Libre and Encarnacion ( I guess thats how you spell it I have no idea:)) for Rob and I.  I also made the boys halloween vests with my mom and bow ties since halloween was on a sunday this year.  So glad that I did, everyone loved them!  I'll get better pictures of the boys costumes and mine and Robs on here soon!

My Garden

It's been really fun and rewarding to have a garden this year.  I'm still getting all kinds of veggies from it but I'm already planning on what to do different next year to make it better!!  My kids love to go out and help me pick, they climb through the towering tomatoes and pick through the prickly cucumbers.  Their hands get sticky and their shoes get muddy, but the smile on their faces when they pick "the biggest one" makes me so happy that I gave my kids this wonderful opportunity!  The produce tastes so much better then what you get from the store, did you know that vegetables actually have flavor?  Well you wouldn't really know that unless you had veggies right out of the garden!  I don't know how I ever ate tomatoes from the store, and after being so spoiled all summer it's gunna be hard to go back to store bought stuff.  I'm a little sad that in a few short weeks there will be no more tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini to pick as the weather turns cooler and the plants start to die.  Oh well i guess I'll just have to be ready for the growing season next year! Until then good bye sweet tomatoes and soft zucchini, good bye hot peppers and dirty potatoes, good bye beautiful green broccoli. Good bye.

Boise Id.

The boys at the fish Habitat
Look at all those FISH!!
We decided to go to Boise to see my grandma and we had the best time!!  The boys just adore Uncle Bob he's like one of the coolest guys they know!!!  It was also nice to see my Uncle Greg and Aunt Tina they are so easy to talk to there was never a dull moment and my cousin Diana and her newly betrothed husband!  We obviously started the trip in the car and even before we got on the highway Zakry was asking if we were there yet. . .five hours and 50 are we there yets later we arrived.  It was so good to see my grandma I don't get to see her very much and it makes me sad that my boys don't hardly know her.  She is one of the nicest people I know!!   We all ate dinner together then headed down town to see a fish habitat place it was so much fun watching the boys run from window to window looking at the fish.  The next day we went shopping at the mall and then to the wonderful Boise Zoo it was awesome!!  We were in awe at the tigers, lions, and giraffes.  After the zoo we went back to grandmas for dinner and then I got to watch movies with her while the boys went on a four mile hike with none other then the coolest Uncle Bob any kid could have!!!  I didnt go because I didnt bring my tennis shoes all I had were flip flops I KNOW WHAT WAS I THINKING!! :)  I was happy to be knItting and hanging out with my grandma.  The next day we went to church had family dinner and we were off on our way back home.  It was a great trip!

Jakob's baptism

I can't believe the day has come I'm oficially old and well, very proud. I tear up at every baptism I go too but this was special. I'm so proud of Jakob for making the decision to get baptized. He was so excited he told everyone he knew about it. If he ever ends up reading this blog I want him to know that this was one of the most gratifying days of my life to see my son make such a huge commitment without blinking an eye. He was ready for this day something that I have worried about for eight years. It has been a blessing to Jakob and just as he's been a blessing to me. I love him so much and I am very humbled that Heavenly Father chose me to be his mother. He is such a loving and kind person, and cant help making friends with everyone.

He's a very small guy but what he lacks in hieght he
definitely makes up for in personality. Jakob had his grandparents do most of the program giving talks and saying prayers but he had his cousins Jayda, Jodee, and Rhenley sing a special musical number they sang When I am Baptized it was a wonderful baptism.

Oh and at church the next day when the bishopric announced Jakob as the newest member of our ward they had him stand up but couldn't see him (he's shorter standing then he was sitting on the bench) so Mikah yells out as loud as he can HE'S OVER HERE!! Everyone laughed Rob and I looked at each other smiled then shook our heads it was pretty cute, and very funny!

How do they think of these things anyway?

The other day i was in my bathroom doing my hair when Zakry came in so excited he could hardly even stand it and he said "Mom watch! I can trick my glasses!!!!" so I looked at him and well there are really no words I just started laughing. I mean what can you do when the kid is so darn cute? Anyway before i forgot about it I had him do it for the camera it's not as good but you'll get the general idea. Kids, there would be no life without them. Mine are definitely my life!:)

i Don't know where to start?

Iv'e missed so much blogging for this summer its unreal!!! I don't know where to begin!! So I'll start with my latest pics. Halloween!!!!! I LOVE Halloween. It's tied for my favorite holiday with Christmas!! I try to get the best idea i can for costumes and this year the boys wanted to be Alvin and the Chipmonks. They loved their costumes and are still wearing them. It's funny how their personalities were just like each of the chipmonks they were dressed up as!!! Anyway it was a fun day of trick-or-treating. We got loads of candy and just as much attention, I wouldn't have it any other way!!!I

5 things I love about Jakob

1. Jakob is very helpful.
(he'll go fetch anything and is very good at picking up when told)

2. I love that Jakob loves to sing.
( He makes up words to songs like his dad does or i"ll find him just singing away in the back of the car it makes my day!!)

3.I love that even though he's seven he'll still kiss me goodbye.

4. I love Jakob's smile those dimples just melt my heart!!

5. I love that Jakob loves to read
( we will sit and read for an hour its wonderful!!!)

Jakob's Birthday

Jakob turned seven this year yes seven!!! I can't even believe how big he's getting!!! I really can't believe that I've been a mom for SEVEN years!!! Anyway his birthday was very fun! Jakob had two birthday parties for him(lucky dog) one for family and one for friends. Here is a pic of him opening up a present.
Thanks to Tara Rew we were able to have this huge blow up water slide in the back yard!!! It was obviously the main attraction. The boys went crazy!!
Jakob got a new water gun from one of his friends so they had a huge water gun fight. Jakob was very good at making sure that everyone had a turn with his new gun that squirted RED water.
I got some little kids crafts for the kids to do they thought it was pretty cool although it was kinda windy so all the little stickers kept flying away and i had to keep picking them up. It was worth it though.
They loved the cupcakes!!
We ended up haveing 12 kids 11 boys and one lonely little girl who had a blast anyway. It was crazy haveing soooo many kids but it was a lot of fun and Jakob loved it so that's all that mattered to me!!!

June

June was a very eventful month. My sister Tessa moved back for the summer, my baby sister Erikka or as I like to call her Lenard graduated and my little niece Kloee Belle got blessed not to mention Jakob's birthday which will be my next blog.

Most of these pictures were taken at the luncheon after the blessing. We had all the cousins together so we had to get a picture of all of them and i thought it would be a cute idea to get them all laying down, and well the one of Zakry just makes me smile!! Adorable!

Resolve to blog!

I just really love looking at everyone's blog and what they're up too and realized that everyone else prolly feels the same way. So I have resolved to be a better blogger and let everyone out there know what we're up too.

Sinco De Mayo

Sorry its late but we had so much fun I can't not post it. We have Sinco de Mayo every year with my family and every year gets a little bit better then the last. We had dinner with lots of delicious food, then did a pinata for the kids, and even though it started raining Aunt Lizzy still taught us all a dance. It was a good time. I have so many pictures i can't hardly narrow it down so I'll try to do just a few. Mikah triied winking at the camera for his picture with Grandma Jiggy. . . too cute!!!

My brother-in-law Darren had to show off his duds with his new fancy shoes.

All the kids couldn't wait to hit the pinata. The one of Jakob is my best shot of my three boys they got kinda blurry because they were moving so much.

Zakry being the little sugarbug that he is. . .couldn't get enough of the candy!!!

School Music Program

Jakob has to be the cutest kid in school!! He had his spring music program the other night and i was so excited he did so good!! I forgot to charge the camcorder so i had to settle for a couple clips on my camera. It"s really hard to see the kids but you can hear them pretty good! Jakob is the smallest first grader of all the classes and he knows how to use that to his advantage too!! The pictures are so bad because they had the stage so dark and he was too far away for a flash. I was a little disappointed but that's ok.

He sang 5 songs which was nice that they kept it short. I think his favorite song was Mr. Golden Sun. Oh sorry that the video is sideways I don't know how to flip it. I hope you enjoy the little video i wish I could show you all more .

Baby Kloee Belle!!

My little sister had her baby last week so I took the boys and went for a quick overnight trip to be there for her!! We left Wednesday afternoon so the boys slept on the way up (nice right?). We thought for sure she would have had the baby or was close when we got there but she didn't end up having her until like 1:30 am. Poor girl, my sister was a trooper that's a long time to be in labor!! It was nice although we didn't get to see her very much!! The boys just love Kloee and still ask when we're going to go see Tessa's new baby again. It was a fun trip and I'm glad I was able to go!! Here are some cute pictures of the boys proudly holding thier new cousin!!!!CHEESERS!
