Jakob's baptism

I can't believe the day has come I'm oficially old and well, very proud. I tear up at every baptism I go too but this was special. I'm so proud of Jakob for making the decision to get baptized. He was so excited he told everyone he knew about it. If he ever ends up reading this blog I want him to know that this was one of the most gratifying days of my life to see my son make such a huge commitment without blinking an eye. He was ready for this day something that I have worried about for eight years. It has been a blessing to Jakob and just as he's been a blessing to me. I love him so much and I am very humbled that Heavenly Father chose me to be his mother. He is such a loving and kind person, and cant help making friends with everyone.

He's a very small guy but what he lacks in hieght he
definitely makes up for in personality. Jakob had his grandparents do most of the program giving talks and saying prayers but he had his cousins Jayda, Jodee, and Rhenley sing a special musical number they sang When I am Baptized it was a wonderful baptism.

Oh and at church the next day when the bishopric announced Jakob as the newest member of our ward they had him stand up but couldn't see him (he's shorter standing then he was sitting on the bench) so Mikah yells out as loud as he can HE'S OVER HERE!! Everyone laughed Rob and I looked at each other smiled then shook our heads it was pretty cute, and very funny!

How do they think of these things anyway?

The other day i was in my bathroom doing my hair when Zakry came in so excited he could hardly even stand it and he said "Mom watch! I can trick my glasses!!!!" so I looked at him and well there are really no words I just started laughing. I mean what can you do when the kid is so darn cute? Anyway before i forgot about it I had him do it for the camera it's not as good but you'll get the general idea. Kids, there would be no life without them. Mine are definitely my life!:)
