The House

I don't know if everyone knows this but we are building a new house and I can not describe how excited I am to move into my very own first house!! There is so much to do like pack and wait and wait oh and did I mention WAIT!!!I can't hardly stand it. Everything seems like it's takeing forever to get done, but I'm not anxious or anything! So I prolly drive by the house once or twice daily.....yes I said daily but it's all for picture purposes I swear! I can't miss out on a good photo opportunity. The house is built the walls are up and textured and well it actually is starting to really feel like a house!

This is a picture looking from our family room into the kitchen. See what I mean? A house right? Anyway I've got paint colors all picked out and can be found often strolling the "houseing" isles at the store looking for good deals on stuff for my house.

Also it was Janelle's birthday this weekend and the boys were so excited to help her celebrate!!We started off with a good ol mexican feast, we had tacos and a yummy new salad that Janelle learned how to make from a girl at her work and some of that nastey green stuff that I make but don't eat...you know what I'm talking about. So then it came time to open up the presents and Jakob ,Mikah, and Zakry couldn't hardly even stand it! Jakob and Mikah both got grandma cards but Mikah was the hit(he didn't even know it) It had a duck on it and in the middle it said something about a buttquack anyway....she got lots of nice things but I have to say I was so excited for her to open up our present to her. I found it a while ago in an antique shop and I've been holding on to it for her...needless to say I think she liked it.

Of coarse we had to blow out some candles and have cake! The boys helped with that too!

I think that overall everyone enjoyed themselves and had a fun time! Great Grandma Burch loved to watch the boys run around and Carson well he found his own way to amuse himself during the festivities! He would take pictures of his mouth going all crazy. It is pretty funny and watching him do it was entertaining as well!

Anyway until next post thanks for boarding the burch bus.

Oh the joys of motherhood!!

I guess I'm reaching that stage in life you know the "Carting your kid off to practice" stage. The "annoying mother on the sidelines" stage. The "mom i know!" stage. Ya well I guess that's where I am. Jakob just started T-ball for the first time this last week and seems to be one of the most promising kids on the team if I must say so myself! Hey I'm his mom I have bragging rights!!! Just because when we yell run to second from the sidelines and he decides to run towards the ball doesn't mean anything!!! But for real though he has a good arm and can bat so that's gotta count for something! Anyway it's been fun so far watching all the kids play they make me laugh. Well enough of the chit chat already let's see some pictures right?

Here's our little excuse me big slugger up to bat the helmet was so big we had him put his sweatshirt hood up so he wouldn't look so much like chicken little! Hey look mom I made it "CHEESE!"

I Love this picture of Jakob you can see how excited he is as he's running it just brings a huge grin to my face. I mean really can you honestly look at this picture and not smile!
I honestly believe that motherhood is a joy and i could never feel as loved, appriciated okay what world am I in appreciated? Anyway where was I loved, needed, and fullfilled in any other job as I do as a mother.
oh and sorry if this post seems a little rough around the edges it's my first. I'll get better!!
